2018 full reading wrap up

book

Happy new year! It seems surreal to be writing this in January 2019, I’m still unsure where the time has gone.

Since it is January, that means it’s time to wrap up the books I got through in 2018.

As with the past few years, my reading goal was set at 50, which I’m proud to say I actually completed for once! I actually read 57 (and three quarters of another one), so let’s see some statistics. I didn’t count the 58th book, as I’ve still got a little bit to finish.

I feel like I read quite a range of books last year, but towards the end of the year I definitely started reading shorter books in a bid to meet my goal (which obviously did not work). However- I also took on Stephen King’s absolute tome It, albeit in audiobook form. I wrote an entire review on it, and although I plan on reading more Stephen King this year, I do definitely prefer shorter books.
